In the theme of opening something than a week or two later having a grand opening I decided to do the same for this site. Today I rolled out a bunch of changes to the site template which I really like and I hope you will too.

  • Updates:
  • Category icons on each post
  • Front page has the first paragraph of the last three articles
  • Added an “About Me” box to the footer
  • Added a “worthy blogs” section for blogs I read related to this site
  • Added subtle lines around the post bodies and comments for improved readability
  • Changed some fonts, font sizes and colors to improve accessibility

I am busily working on the first article and hopefully the first part will be ready by the end of next week. The article will be on ASP.Net’s Dynamic Controls and over the course of several parts I intend to provide a one stop location for all you need to know to use them effectively.
