		<description>I actually read a few of these articles recently too. And I think in the end it's close to a rivalry in a way. Each has it's own benefits and it's just a matter of what you prefer to implement.

Seeing the kind of work we do in housing, I don't really see the advantages Python would offer, since we don't do complex work really, just a lot of DB queries. 

Still, I think it's best to know X + Y, and I think in my case I'm sticking to Ruby/PHP.</description>

While Rails and Ruby are both very nice, Ruby doesn't have the community Python has in terms of people developing interesting things and solving hard problems. I would imagine Ruby will continue to improve in this regard, but at the moment the maturity of the Python community is a huge resource.</description>
